I've known his dad Kelly since he was shaping boards in a converted bath house. Amazing family....this wave on that board was truly special. I know Kelly was over the moon. Question is, will he let Cam take it off the display wall and ride it again? Go Cam

Kind of a soft wave, especially compared to Negra or Pto. Viejo de Talamanca. At this size it just starts to work. Once it becomes overhead plus then it’s really fun. At the end of the season you sometimes have an “upwelling” effect from weeks of Papagayo winds, then the water temp drops and you may need a wettie..

When pipes was too BIG (60's & 70's), we stayed at EHUKAI. Plus it was a right.

Fickle almost novelty wave but good up on everyone that puts the work in when the barrels are makeable

My favorite wave. I’ve camped at playa naranjo numerous times which is about a 1/2 mile walk down the beach from the rock. It always sucks when the boats show up with a bunch of surfers. You want to really experience playa naranjo drive in through the estuaries and stay at the camp ground.
